Me? Stylish?

There's been a little sparkly award recently circulating around the blogs I visit. Some have even passed the award to me. And let me tell you - I'm feeling a little stylish.

I'm not often referred to as stylish - especially when I like to show off new found talent such as this; or sport things like this; or chase after my dogs through the pasture wearing strange apparel. Considering all that, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show off this shiny award:

I'm not feeling very responsible today. Therefore, I am going to follow suit with Kari and The SoCal Bowhunter and only perform duties 1 & 2.

Second Duty - Seven random things about me:

1. I love rivers and lakes, but the ocean not so much.
2. One of my most embarrassing moments was falling asleep in the aisle of a bus during a tour through Europe. I think I was in Italy?? Anyway, apparently the bus aisle is not a good place to sleep since the fumes will really knock you out. I awoke to everyone trying to wake me up. They were concerned because I wouldn't wake up. Sheesh! I was tired. I was drooling. It was embarrassing.
3. I missed a 6x7 bull elk at 5 yards. You read that correctly. (I did bury an arrow into a pine tree and also managed to stay scent-free if you know what I mean.)
4. I hate belly button lint. It's gross. End of story.
5. I like to sew just about anything but clothes. I won a fancy sewing machine when I was 19 for a quilt I made. And I completely redecorated our old camper which included camouflage curtains.
6. I believe that life is so precious and a gift from God. I am privileged to work for a non-profit ministry that is passionate for the unborn. Check out This Story on the difference a commercial made in a young mom's life and her precious baby girl.
7. I had my appendix removed when I was 7 and was scared to speak after the surgery. My best friend made me laugh by looking at my scar and saying, "ohhh... GROSS!"
8. I'm breaking the rules and listing an eighth random fact. I was having a hard time coming up with 7. So, I sent this text to my husband... "If you could list one random thing about me what would it be?" His reply.... "Hot & sexy." I love my man.
